Greetings from the Corner Kitchen.
We’re the latest addition to the Frank’s Sundown lineup. We are continuing to evolve, but we can thankfully say that the reaction has been extremely positive.
Our philosophy has been to provide home cooked food at bar food prices. How do you define that? We’ll let you know when we have it completely figured out. What we are doing to get there are the little things.
Let’s start with the sandwiches on our menu.
Do you like a great burger? We start with fresh beef. We surround it with a great bun. We make the bun better by toasting it with a bit of real butter. Add some sauteed fresh mushrooms and a slice of Swiss cheese. Now you’ve got a burger.
How about roast beef. We slow roast our own. Hand trim and slice it. Serve it on that great toasted buttered bun with sauteed fresh mushrooms and onions and melted provolone cheese.
We take it a step further with our daily specials. Everything is prepared like Mom would make it. Things like spaghetti and meatballs with homemade sauce and hand formed meatballs. Roast pork and gravy with real gravy and real mashed potatoes. No kidding. We peel them. Boil them. Mash them. Blend them with real butter and milk and a touch of salt and pepper.
The kicker is that we serve it all at a price you can afford.
